I dont agree with you OP. I read books on my tablet, read/correct PDFs for university, check/send emails, write my reports, do my research and so on. I own kindle3 and lenovo 10 inch thinkpad tablet, and the amount of time between them varies.
I use kindle for fiction most of the time, and tablet for university reads.
I dont watch movies on my tablet, I use desktop for that.
This particular tablet has real stylus so I often catch notes on it too. And a keyboard attachment so it functions as a notepad.
