I think you've covered it pretty well - NOT READY FOR PRIME TIME.

I think part of the problem is I'm old... I came from a generation of software developers and engineers that believed software actually ought to work and have a decent user interface and not crash-and-burn regularly BEFORE you turned it loose on the public.
