The Carnival of Death by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard is another one of his vintage pulp mystery/thrillers (with a bonus extra story) in the Stories from the Golden Age series offered by Galaxy Press, LLC, which is some kind of quote-unquote "independent" subsidiary of the Church with absolutely no propagandist purpose whatsoever, or so they claim.
