Exclamation Free SF/Fantasy - Baen Gift Bundle Final Hours (Jun 2002 & Mar 2003)

Okay, I am about to buy the following two bundles, which I am fairly sure contain a good combination of books I am actually interested enough to make this bundle worth buying for me personally.

I'm purchasing now instead of continuing to browse through my "maybes" in order to give our European/advanced time-zone members a chance to pick up the bundles before they go to bed and wake up to find everything has disappeared from Baen.

NB to European/advanced time-zone members: if you sign up for this, then please stay up for this. As the saying goes: you can sleep when you're dead. Or this offer is; whichever comes first.

And if anyone was hoping that I would get that Nov 2007 bundle with the Anne McCaffrey/Elizabeth Moon collab and the Wen Spencer book, it's off the table. After skimming both, it turns out I just don't like MilSF enough to spend $9 after one of my few remaining Planet Baen coupons for 2 books which I'm curious about and latter-day McCaffrey does not impress and the Spencer book is only mildly interesting and I already know I'm not going to like the other books included and I've already spent ~$100 of my own money at Baen over the past few days.

If you want it, I'm afraid you'll have to get it yourself.

Here is what I am about to buy:

June 2002

The Amazing Dr. Darwin by Charles Sheffield
The Short Victorious War by David Weber
Bug Park by James P. Hogan
The Sacred Pool by L. Warren Douglas (this is the book I'm buying it for, which is in the same series as another book which I got in the July 2002 bundle which turned out to be a pretty promising read on the bus)

March 2003

Empire From the Ashes by David Weber
Conqueror by David Drake and S. M. Stirling
Here There Be Dragonnes by Mary Brown (this is a promising-looking 3-in-1 omnibus which I want to skim through further to decide whether I want to pick up the 4th book)
Darkness and Dawn by Andre Norton
The Genesis Machine by James P. Hogan
The Isle Beyond Time by L. Warren Douglas (3rd in the series mentioned above)

If you've been participating in these threads, you know how it works. Both codes passed on at once, separate checkouts for each bundle, stick around to redeem and pass on if you sign up, don't break the chain.

Thank you all for your co-operation.

Don't disappoint me, fellow MR-goers.
