The problem isn't with Apple's machines. They are only machines like the machines of Samsung (which makes many of the parts of Apple machines), and all the other manufacturers using nameless Chinese and Malaysian parts.
The problem is that to sell it's overly priced products, Apple has fostered a climate and sense of "we are so superior to everyone else" that registers well with a certain class of buyers. It becomes "Apple will take care of us and we are better than the rest."
I think this attitude also spills over into the corporate structure of Apple also. Arrogance is one word for it.
With all this, of course many Apple consumers feel that their Apple machine is superior to common sense and those stupid road signs.
And by the way,
"we don't need no stinking maps" either.
