How do you alter the line spacing?

How do you alter the line spacing on a book so that when it's on the Sony e-reader there is a gap between paras for example?

The epubs I download from Calibre into my Blackberry Playbook and Kobo Glo both appear on the respective screens with a line (maybe not quite the full width) between paras, and therefore the page is easy to read and is far less cluttered looking.

Whereas, the same book downloaded from Calibre into my Sony 650 has no line between paras - although the indent is still 'normal'.

In fact when I've looked at the various Sony ereader models in the shops it's the same on every model - no space between paragraphs.

Is it in Calibre that I need to change something for the Sony version of the book, or is it on the device itself?

Either way - how is it done?

Thanks in advance.
