Sure - if you want to get paranoid. I have a selection of methods to prevent OTA updates. (none of them did I invent might I add)
They are all documented, "dmsid" I believe has documented several also on these threads - along with the many Tin Hat threads that moot them from time to time.
In essence - you can be in control to a large degree. Not 100% but "up there"
