My mom and I usually trade wal-mart gift cards and she isn't very computer savvy. I got a birthday/Christmas gift early from her this year as she couldn't get it up the stairs herself. She got me a new office chair for when I'm in front of my desktop computer. So no ebooks but a comfy place to sit while I read my Kindle.
