In my current job I'm responsible for the technical aspects of a website for one college unit at a university. There is a "Tech Committee" which is supposed to "advise" me in developing it. Apparently they want me to switch to a fixed-width style, rather than the elastic one I've been slaving over to get just right for a couple of months (off and on). Because that's what "other colleges" use.
