Dr. Drib, that's the graphic novel from a different publisher. We're doing the novel. (i.e. ordinary novel-like prose text, no drawings.)
I had called Harlan and we talked about that edition, and how it's a very different thing. (Ed wasn't involved, for one thing.) Same time at which Harlan told me to give all his author's proceeds for our novel edition to Ed to help him out.
Our edition will be on Amazon too once it's ready (and B&N, etc.). But Amazon doesn't do pre-orders for us small publishers, so the pre-orders are only via our web store until it's finished. (Not to mention we are DRM-free and you get both EPUB and MOBI.) Ed is in dire need of the funds, hence the pre-order approach.
