Maggie is the winner for getting the last letter. Auyuittuq National Park is located on Baffin Island in Canada. It is home to some of the craziest sheer drops in mountaineering and has several kick-ass named peaks.

Mount Asgard, Mount Thor and Mount Odin. Pictured below are all in the park. Mount Asgaard was used in The Spy who Loved Me.


The base jump (ski) was from Mount Asgard.

Mount Thor has the greatest pure vertical drop with 1,250m at an average of 105degrees (yes, actually more than vertical).

Mount Odin is the tallest peak on Baffin Island.

I hate my country for being so gigantic and remote in places that seeing even a smidgen of it is a lifetime.
