For me I spent many years working too many hours a day. Formed my own business about 8 years ago and other than a few bad days here and there collecting from reluctant clients, I have never been happier. I get to spend a lot more time with my wife and family. Sure I do a lot of work at night; but, I have always enjoyed working in the evenings and night. It is my most productive period. I am not worth a thing in the morning until after lunch. Reading the comics is about the extent of mental exercises I care to deal with before noon. Like Ricky I charge a lot per hour (but not as much as a lawyer) but do not (normally) work a full week.

Good grief!! We're practically twins!! All except for the wife and family part. If you substitute in dogs and cats for wife and family, and make your own business go back about 15 years ... then .... well, it's damn near the same story. And, I too am good to pretty much no one before noon.
