I am sorry for the delay. Frankly, it irritates me something fierce; but the reasons are sound. The six inch will release in September, with the 5 inch (as Dale said) not too far behind, once we get the final design for that size done.

Prices remain about where we planned; but I am staying off the pricing issue until I see it in writing. We realize, as Dale has said, PRICE is what is drawing the interest to our devices.

Hello RobertB,

first thank you for this little update, and honestly every projects are always at least in a little delay, in fact my own work project is in a little delay too since it's really BIG for only myself so.... :-)

But reading about the 5" and about you got a partner to check a revision design, so I would suggest: why not adopting same design of 6" for the 5"? So for sure it'll be appreciated for who is waiting for 5" and who will look at this 5" product?... In fact 6"'s design is very good since it feels a good manageability by hands and easy buttons without having too way buttons like Kindle's one, without mentioning the weight of the product since it's so thin...?
In this way Astak could be a bit more sure the 5" will have more units sold for sure...

Actually I'm still waiting for the 6" one... let's wait and see...

Ciao,
Luigi
