I own a black Kobo Glo and sometimes it does show fingerprints but to get past that I normally wear gloves that have touch capability. Having the Kobo Glo in a case so you're actually holding the case not the bezel also helps. I always leave my Kobo Glo in its case but when I don't I just use a microfiber cloth and the fingerprints comes off easy. I would think it's better to know there are fingerprints there then to not. I can see a white Kobo Glo getting dirty over time. Especially if you don't regularly clean it. Also, reading text just looks better with a black bezel. It's all about preference so keep that in mind.
