Closer, I danced to salaciously up Oxford Street at the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras in...'99 I think it was. There was much bumping and grinding going on in front of over half a million people (actually present - more watching on the telly, as it used to be the most-watched event on telly for the year). That was my 15 minutes (actually about an hour or two, and I was only one of thousands, but I did get on the telly, much to my family's surprise), and I'm pretty sure Andy won't give me another.
Ahh, memories...I remember the after-party, and managing to dance through the entire night (like an angry, uncoordinated gibbon), without the assistance of chemical stimulant. I don't think
Everlasting Night (extended version) by Danii Minogue will ever leave the backing soundtrack of my thoughts. I think I might try sync' it up with the iTunes version right now...
