Hello and welcome. We're very glad you've joined the forum. There's a very active group of Kindle owners here -- and since the Kindle can use books in MobiPocket format, we share a lot in common with the owners of the Cybook and similar devices.
I have both a Kindle and a Sony PRS-505. I've really enjoyed the Kindle and it is my primary electronic book reader. You've got an exciting time ahead of you.
On my Kindle, I'm about 1/2 through reading Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer (third in the Twilight series). I let the battery run down on the Kindle, so I'm reading Door through Space by Marion Zimmer Bradley (which I purchased from Fictionwise) on the Sony Reader until I can get back to my hotel tonight and plug in the Kindle to recharge.
