Wentworth, Patricia: Mr. Zero. V1. 25 November 2012

When not writing Miss Silver detective stories, Patricia Wentworth wrote adventure/thriller stories which feature nice young women, nice chaps, improbable villains and unlikely mcguffins.

This story involves a silly young woman pressured into taking secret documents from her cabinet minister husband's files, a bad guy called Mr Zero, a bright girlfriend who helps the silly young woman, an envelope full of secret papers which goes missing, assorted good guys and Scotland Yard.
