I wouldn't even mind that so much, if the book selections were at least as good as the Amazon recommendations.

I've bought plenty of paperbacks that had ads for other books (by the same author or by other authors in the same publishing house) in the back, often with an order form. I wouldn't mind being able to click on a link and go straight to a site that would let me order the sequel to a book I'd just finished.
