A few years ago I noticed 5 "Pot" plants (yes the smoking kind) in my neighbor's back yard). I called the police who did nothing more than confiscated them.
Oddly the next day DHR (the people who "police" Home Child Care) came by to check my wife's Home Child Care business.
Someone had called and said she was keeping more children than was legal. It was not true & the DHR inspector "knew" this because of my wife's reputation but was required by law to verify that.
Thankfully, she is out of that business and I no longer a "homeless person" as I felt back then.
