This implies that you can see your kindle rootfs as mounted on your linux host PC. It said nothing about using SSH or SFC.
I was merely pointing out that the mounted filesystem you see from a host PC is /mnt/us on your kindle. When you leave out important details, we can only assume default conditions (mounted USB drive, NOT USB networking)...
