Good Morning fellow Mobile Readers,
My name is John and I'm from Southeast Missouri. I've been an avid book reader since the age of six or seven, when I was reading Tom Swift Adventures and Dig Allen Stories. To this day, SciFi remains my mainstay, but I'm an equal opportunity reader.
My first reader was a Kindle K3, which I also got for my wife after she got interested in it and '
thought she might like reading in one'. Being something of a geek, I had to upgrade to the Kindle Touch when it came out. Then I went and left the damn thing in the seat-back of an AA flight in DFW. Even with ID all over it, I never saw that again. I think it was a Freudian Slip, as I really didn't like the feel of the K5, compared to the K3. Got a K4 to replace it and am much happier with it, though I periodically attempt to turn pages by touching the screen.
Coveted my dad's Kindle Fire, and have tossed around the idea of the KFHD . . . but am thinking about one of the Nexus devices. I have an ASUS TFT201 for a tablet . . . for now.

Just maybe, a smaller tablet sometime? If they would put an SD/microSD in the Nexus! No matter what I do there, will keep something like the K4 as it is a perfect size/weight for travel.
I pay for my addictions by working as a flight nurse on an air medical helicopter. Been a nurse for 33 years and flown part-time and full-time for over 20.
Other than reading, I dabble with computers, a '47 Plymouth, bow hunting a little firearm hunting and we travel when we can.
Cheers!
