Well, no, I guess not...but it still shouldn't prevent pursuing the scientific nature of the problem at hand, should it? Except if you are objecting to the necessity for a scientific inquiry to be repeatable by other experimenters...or are you concerned that some of the panel may be forced to endure a placebo for the sake of fairness and accuracy?
