That is good to know about the battery life. I assume that is after you set it up and use it only to read? Possibly vxf is still using too much battery by playing around with his PW? I noticed on my wifes KT (which still got that brand new gadget smell) that battery life is very poor. Not to worry as I figure it is because the library gets shuffled around, partly deleted, redownloaded almost daily. Result? It is not feasible to share a KT (at least not for us) - I will just have to bite the bullet and wait until it is possible to order me my own PW. I even seriously considered ordering a K4NTB, but the touch screen is so much easier to use. I am not going back a generation just because of a month's delay until PW can be bought again.

Compared to to the Kindle, my Sony feels like a cheap toy. To be fair though it is some generations behind and build quality and materials are excellent, just the navigation feels clumsy.
