Sure it is an official Firmwareversion. It is available from the official pocketbook downloadservers, and its from the official pocketbook developers.
But it is 'only' a release candidate, the probability to find some bugs is a bit higher as in the normal release.
When you've problems with it, you could also downgrade again to the last official version - so, where is the Problem?
