Xendula, thanks for the advice regarding trying to sort out some custom arrangement with amazon customer service. The actual service varied a lot depending on the rep. The first one seemed less experienced and was adamant that the system did not allow shipping to anywhere but the US. The second rep gave a much more detailed interview to diagnosevth problem but then showed much more flexibility in allowing shipping to HK.
Customer service makes such a big impact on how loyal one is to a brand. I hope this works out!
