Great, thanks a lot.
Must have happened in the last 10 hours, I had checked this morning.
No surprise: It's only in the US store, not the German one.
You just go to the desktop, change your location, download/install and switch back to your original location.
Huge improvement: Kindle, Kobo, Nook + Zinio = all I need for reading.
Minor issue still: I can't download some of my Kobo content. Huge files, such as the Dilbert cartoons, don't finish downloading, the app closes at the end of the download but the book doesn't appear.
