I do have small hands (and awfully stubby fingers *lol*), and it did occur to me last night that that might be part of the problem.

I'm going to give reading sans the cover another whirl tonight. In all honesty, I tend to be hard on my gadgets (my poor video iPod is covered with scratches, as is the screen of my Razr, despite keeping both in protective cases). I was hoping to be able to read with it in the cover, since that affords a little more protection...and I was slightly nervous about the Kindle being white, so I also thought reading it in the cover might keep it cleaner longer.

I'm going to try folks' suggestions on how to hold it tonight...I'll experiment more, and see if I can get comfy with it. I want to really give the Kindle a fair chance, you know?
Perception is a funny thing. When I first saw the Kindle, online even, I fell instantly in love. However, whenever I see a PT Cruiser, or a Scion, I want to puke. Yet, these cars are all over the place. Were I to tell the owners of these vehicles what I thought, I'm sure they'd take it personally, like a criticism of their personal style and taste. Perhaps thats why, when people use words like "ugly" "Cheesy" and "lacking in refinement" has a tendency to push my buttons, so to speak. But, all that aside, I know you'll find the perfect reader......for you. It doesn't matter which one it is.
