Lord knows. I've told here the books will comeback and the only books on there are the ones she (we) have bought.
I thought as much for retrieving the password. However, I do think the solution is far worse.
Someone steals your Kindle
It's Passworded
They type a sentence and they have a fresh wiped Kindle.
Perhaps a networked Kindle Password that can only be reset online (in Wifi or 3G area) would be more sensible.
Off to reset her Kindle.
