On the Glo (and I believe the Touch), for sideloaded books it is the
header that is not displayed, but the footer with the page number is still displayed, and there is no way to get rid of it. I agree, on a small 6" screen I think there should be option to switch both header and footer off for kepubs and side-loaded.
Plus which I've discovered that the Kobo ignores line-height styles in epubs. For me the lines are too high, even with the minimum line spacing setting in the Glo's font options. Setting the line-height in the epub css (e.g., to 0.8em) makes no difference...naughty Kobo!
