Don't know if this is so much an actual Sunrise query or not but I'm trying to come up with some way to remotely install the PDB's created by Sunrise. I'd like to somehow be able to "sync" Sunrise while I'm out and about at a WiFi hotspot or something away from my PC. So my thought is this
- Leave Sunrise up an running on my PC at home to update hourly or what have you
- Write the PDB's out to a directory on a webserver at home that is shared at ~/sunrise/ or something
(now this is where I'm not sure what I need to use)
- So the PDB's are now available at
http://mywebsite/sunrise/*.pdb
- Somehow pull them all down into the the \PALM\Programs\Plucker\ directory on the SD card over the WiFi connection.
So I guess the question is, any add-on program that can easily just pull *.pdb from this shared URL? I know there are FTP type programs but I'd like to automate this as much as possible and not have to specifiy "get yahoo.pdb," "get espn.pdb," etc. Right now, the ability to remote sync is the only reason I even have Avantgo on my Palm anymore.
Like I said, I know this isn't really a Sunrise quesiton, but I'm looking to further my use of Sunrise so I thought I'd ask here. Thanks.
