Hi Everybody,

Obviously I'm new to this forum as I am to all forums - it took me getting on for half an hour to work out how to make this posting, let's hope it works. I'm a retiree in their mid sixties and suffering from being out of the work 'loop' with no colleagues to call on for assistance and advice with i.t. developments, etc. I've been a user of the Kindle keyboard for a couple of years now and have read around 60 books in that time, very few of which I must admit I have purchased from Amazon. I've been using Calibre which does everything I could ask it for (and more)! It's truly adaptable and you can make it as complex (why, when all you really want to do is read books) or readily usable as you so wish.

I'm planning on ordering a Kindle PaperWhite in the near future and I have concerns regarding picking up my current Calibre library and loading it on the new KPW. Hopefully this forum will help me in the future.
