I'd be interested to hear from Palm OS software developers about their take on Ed's letter, and I agree that he sounds very sincere in reiterating Palm's support of Palm OS. As a long time Palm OS user, Ed's recent public statements made during the Analyst Day meeting as well as interviews like the Time magazine PC in Your Palm article are encouraging.
The biggest question mark that remains about the future of Palm OS is what Access does (and how quickly they do it) with Palm OS for Linux.
