Others have explained pretty thoroughly, but keep in mind that there could always be a major, major crash of servers and backups causing loss of individual titles. Not likely, but possible. Best to remove the DRM and store on your computer and/or backups. Remember also that formats change, so by removing the DRM now, your ebook remains convertible to future devices (kindle 8 for instance).
