I never expected this to be so difficult.
Outside of the Amazon basin, where is the LAST REMAINING VIRGIN RAINFOREST?
1. Country - Peninsula Malaysia
2. Name - Taman Negara National Park
3. Size - 4,300 sq. Kilometers of dense jungle
4. Name of the indigenous people who inhabit this area. - Orang Asli
mountainous region that forms its western border - Cameron Highlands
famous for two completely different 'things' - Tea (of course) and Gambling casinos!
It really is a fun area for a vacation. I've spent many happy days wandering around that jungle, on foot and in canoe, camped out in 'hides' to photograph animals coming to natural salt licks. This was where I saw my first and only wild tiger! (I figured I was safe. I was wearing Tiger Balm...)
