Yes, you hook it up to your wifi or to wired network and you can find radio stations through the menu. If you can't find your favourite radio station in the menu you can add the URL online. However, with Logitech's radio's everything goes through their servers and when their servers are down there's no radio.
The Squeezebox Radio can also stream music from a computer on the network but even that wasn't working during the outage. I think Sonos also has their own servers but for other brands it's hard to find if they connect directly to an online radio service (like Tunein) or if it goes through their own servers.
