I do most of my ebook reading on a Kindle Keyboard, and was an early-adopter of e-ink technology, so I'm convinced about the goodness of e-ink. I'm waiting to receive a lighted bookcover for my Kindle Keyboard, and if that works out well for reading in the dark, then at least I have an excuse for returning the Fire HD. I should also give the Kindle app on my iPad2 a chance, as it may be a contender. I'll just hold off loading more books and apps until I can compare the three options.

I love my KF for reading at night but make sure to get the
Screen Dim app it will make it so much easier to read at night.
I own the lighted cover for the K3. It's really nice but not sleeping partner friendly. So far the Kindle Fire has been the only solution for me but I must use it with Screen Dim or he complains it's too bright.
