For whatever reason, some books are only offered in a few formats. I don't know if it's the publishers specifying or providing the formats, but In the case of some, especially certain magazines, it may be to limit them to formats that preserve the desired formatting. I suspect this due to at least one magazine (Hitchcock, I think) being available only in PDF & epub.

So far, that's all "limited" means. I hope that continues to be the case.
