Legally? No. Because it is illegal to circumvent DRM.

Morally, I'd say yes, you have the basic right to read an ebook you have purchased on the device of your choice.

Laws in the United States these days are written for the benefit of corporations and big government, not for the benefit of individual citizens.

There are lots of examples where legality and basic human morality are in conflict. For example, in many states you don't own the rainwater that falls on your own property and you are breaking the law if you save the rain in a barrel and use it to water your tomato plants.
