As to why go the whole debrick route: since you're obviously lost at the first hint of a CLI, I don't feel particularly inclined to hand-hold you through the whole 'extract some stuff from a backup and restore' thing (And, as I said previously, there's no telling that it's the only issue on your device). At least the debricking stuff is fairly well documented in a bunch of different ways, and given its track record, is apparently clear enough, even for CLI impaired people
