A slew of new information from plasticlogic today, all posted on the news section of their website http://www.plasticlogic.com/news.html

To summarize:
Their factory in Dresden is opening 17th September.
They are about to announce a cash injection of £25 million.
They hope to start selling their device next year.
It will have a screen size of 10.7 inches which while not A4 is still pretty big.

Interesting news. Market research must have indicated that bigger screen size would sell better. The production process is relatively untested so 10.7 inches was probably the largest screen size they could safely aim for. Clearly they have fallen behind a little as they were planning to release a device at the end of this year and I also seem to recall that they were also planning to release a smaller screen size. Maybe there is too much competition at the lower screen sizes now (Kindle, Iliad and Sony).
