I really like this series overall. I love that it follows the same people, and the growing relationships between them.

I know some people who won't read them because Robb does NOT hesitate to go into sometimes lurid detail while writing from the killers' point of view. There's one particular scene that I tend to fast-forward through when I do a "re-listen" of the series. It's one thing to skim when reading, but sometimes with the audiobooks, it just seems worse and I'd rather not experience that scene at all!
