I just bought it recently, but I actually bought it on eBay so I don't know if the warranty would be applicable to me or not.

Edit: It was still draining very fast after the factory reset, but then I left it to charge for several hours, and it seems to be holding the charge well. In the time it would have taken for it to drain to half power it seems to have only drained, at most, maybe 10%. I'm almost afraid I'll jinx myself by saying this, but it seems that it might be working okay now.
