I had to return my kobo yesterday. I finding that when the WiFi was switched on the battery was draining at a ridiculous rate. Literally 10 % drain for every minute or so the WiFi was on. A full battery drained in Less than 10 minutes. It was also draining quite fast if I played around with the fonts or made a few book shelves.
