I remember Plum Island. In fact, several years ago, my husband and I listened to it in the car on the daily commute. If you like DeMille, also give In Country a look. I would never have considered a book about Vietnam to be interesting, but this was the pbook era, and I was desperate for something to read. Turned out to be one of those books I couldn't put down. |
I think you mean 'Up Country'. In fact, i just downloaded that one to read.
And I can recommend both 'Night Fall' and 'Wild Fire'; both very good.
