So I guess many are disappointed with the Kindle Paperwhite because of the lighting issues? So I guess the workaround is to buy the old Kindle Fire for night reading and just keep the old Kindle Touch for daytime reading? I was going to buy the PaperWhite as a gift but I read about the Kobo Glo and the Cybook Odyssey HD FrontLight and they seem to be better alternatives if they become available in the US or maybe if Sony ever comes out with their own illuminated reader.
Has anyone tried this method?: SolarFocus Power Lighted Cover for Kindle Touch 3G and WiFi. It is a case that has a built-in light and charges your Kindle using solar so you never have to plug-in your device. $48 at Buy.com
