Keep up the good work. Though I would have thought something more substantial that Coke Zero would be required for that, like a nice, hearty Keemun? Ah, well. To each his/her own.

An interesting amalgam of English and Japanese breakfasts. The tea -- purely English. The rice balls with plum? Quintessential Japanese. And overall? Quite appealing, actually.

I've never managed to learn to love Pu-erh. I've tried a few, but they sit unloved on the top shelf of my tea cupboard.

Today started off great (Lucas, cinnamon buns, beautiful weather) then took a turn downward. Someone I love is in the middle of a divorce and I am one of his venters. It is hard to see him in so much pain. The day is picking up again. I am feeding Lucas and we are going to go for a nice walk.

Lucas, cinnamon buns and a walk all sound very positive.
Rain and gray, today. Started out with Scottish Breakfast tea, then fresh squeezed OJ and my "standard" breakfast of eggs from our chickens, bacon I've cured, and toast from bread my DW made. The rest of the day is going to be spend knitting and "reading" an Audible book. And drinking tea, of course. Probably some more of that Scottish Breakfast, and then some Keemun?
