This is just too weird. I posted a queston on Alf's site (our own PD was very kind in trying to help me), but I just couldn't figure out what was happening. Finally, I looked at my plug ins, and the kindle one was missing!!! How could this be? It is not like I fool around with these. I did download a couple legitimate plug ins suggested by Blossom (Mobi unpack and kindle collections). How could this erase my plug-in? When I tried to reinstall it, I was blocked. Finally had to log in as admin (wouldn't even work running as admin), and install it that way. The only thing I can figure out is either MacAfee or Windows decided it was a threat and eliminated it. (I think this because could not install it without logging in as administrator) Or I deleted it while I was on the computer after taking an Ambien (I never get on the computer after taking a sleeping pill). Really frightening.

This is just really, really weird. I only fool around with these when a new set comes out, and I haven't replaced them in forever, because I go on the "if it ain't broke" theory. Of course, I could have a split personality that is fooling around with my computer, but at my age, I would think there would have been some evidence of that before now. I prefer to think of it as a security thing, or evil gremlins. No one else uses my computer, so I can't even blame it on my family.
