I did get a few more bites on my face last night ... mosquito. This is the first year that we've had mosquitos out here, but I suspect that the drought is leaving most of the creeks and small ponds as stagnet pools.

Maybe on Wednesday and only if absolutely necessary. I can think of a lot of things I could use $1000 for that I would like better than having several lidocaine injections just for the purpose of opening up my arm. Really ... it's simple to do ... you just take a very sharp cutting implement (preferably sterilized), and poke it through your skin and then move it (quickly) until you've got a one or two inch opening.
