When using page slider to scan for book page, numbers shown in pop up window is ok for changing book pages. When changing library pages scanning for title or author pop up window above page slider should show what your scanning for which is titles or authors on pages not page numbers.
Books are printed on paper with each page having a page number that never changes because you can not change font size printed in book. E-readers allow you to change font size so page numbers are not hard set to page like a paper book. One page number might cover 5 or more page turns. When I stop reading a book on my Kobo and start reading same book again in that same reader it opens book to same location in book when I stopped reading. This is regardless number of books I have read on that reader or time since I last read that book, it still opens book at correct location. This is fine for my causal reading. This Might not be good enough for a text book or research notes.
