At my Uni (down south) they had a habit of turing off the hot water overnight. Cold shower at 3am.... No thanks.

I'd developed the ability, as near as I can tell, to get up without waking up (I'm pretty certain I cycled to class whilst asleep one day). On more than one occasion when I had to get up painfully early my first conscious thought of the day was a very naught word whilst exiting the shower with extreme rapidity.
